The Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Golf Team Finishes Fourth at the Capital/Otterbein Invitational

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team shot a 376 and finished seventh out of nine teams at the Capital University/Otterbein College Invitational today (Wednesday, April 18, 2007) at the  Table Rock Golf Club in Centerburg, Ohio.

B-W was led by junior Molly Sheetz (Canton/Perry) who shot an 86.  Scheetz was followed by sophomore Lydia Cole (East Canton) with a 95, junior Karli Townsend (Malvern) with a 97, junior Rochelle McKinney (Malvern) with a 98 and sophomore Simone Short (Toledo/Whitmer) with a 116.

Ashland University won the team event with a 339, edging out Otterbein by a stroke.

The Yellow Jackets will return to the links this Saturday and Sunday (April 21-22, 2007) when they compete in the Wilmington College Invitational at the Majestic Springs Golf Course in Wilmington, Ohio.  Then they will return to the Table Rock Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday, April 28-29, 2007 to compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship.
