The Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Golf Team Finishes Tied for Fourth at Otterbein Invitational
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team shot a 381 and tied for fourth place at the Otterbein College Fall Invitational at the Table Rock Golf Club in Centerburg, Ohio.
B-W was led by junior two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Molly Scheetz (Canton/ Perry) and sophomore Lydia Cole (East Canton) who each carded a 90. Following Scheetz and Cole was senior three-time All-OAC player Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./ Our Lady of Providence) with a 94, junior Rochelle McKinney (Mt. Vernon) with a 107, sophomore Simone Short (Toledo/Whitmer) with a 111 and junior Karli Townsend (Mt. Vernon) with a 113.
Host Otterbein won the team championship with a 333 total and Otterbein's Rustie Anderson won individual medalist honors after carding an 82.
Next Sunday (Oct. 15) the Yellow Jackets will play in their final fall tournament when they play in the John Carroll University Fall Invitational at Fowlers Mill Golf Club in Chesterland. Tee-times will begin at 11:00 a.m.
