The Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Golf Team Placed Second at the
Otterbein College Invitational
BEREA, OHIO - The Baldwin Wallace College women's golf team placed second out of eight eight teams at the Otterbein College Invitational Tournament at New Albany Links Golf Club (Par 72; 5,597-yards) in New Albany, Ohio. The team shot a 36-hole total score of 736 strokes. This was the fourth spring tourney for the Yellow Jackets.
For the Yellow Jackets, sophomore Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./ Our Lady of Providence) led the way for the Yellow Jackets with a two-day total of 181 (87+94). Hacker was followed by freshman Molly Scheetz (Canton/ Perry) with a 182 (93+89). Juniors Emily Scheetz (Canton/ Perry) posted a 184 (94+90) and Lauren Buckner (Westlake) posted a 189 (102+87). Senior Mary Farrell (Middleburg Heights/ Holy Name) rounded out the B-W scoring with 220 (110+110) strokes.
The Yellow Jackets will play next weekend on April 23 and 24 at the Yellow Jacket Spring Invitational @ Big Met Golf Course.
