The Women's Golf Team Placed Fourth at the Anderson University Invite
BEREA, OHIO - The Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team finished in fourth place of eight teams at the Anderson University (Ind.) Invitational. They shot a total of 736 (354-382) for 36-holes at the Killbuck Golf Course (par 71; 5,813-yards) and the Grandview Golf Course (par 71; 5,810-yards) in Anderson, Indiana. Sophomore Kelly Gallaway (Ashland/Senior) led the way for the Lady Jackets with a total score of 175 (82-93). Freshman Molly Sheetz (Canton/ Jackson) shot a total of 184 (89-95) and junior All-OAC player from last year Lauren Buckner (Westlake) had a total score of 185 (88-97). Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./Our Lady of Providence) had a score of 192 (95-97) and senior Mary Farrell (Middleburg Heights/Parma Holy Name) had a score of 211 (101-110).
The individual medalist for the tournament was Sarah Gates from DePauw who shot a total of 153 (73-80).
The next tournament for the Lady Jackets will be the Wilmington College Invitational on September 19th.
