The Baldwin-Wallace Women's Golf Team Placed Fourth at the Ohio Northern University Invitational
BEREA, OHIO - The Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team placed fourth at the Ohio Northern University Invitational. The Yellow Jackets posted an 18-hole total of 379 strokes at the Colonial Golfers Club in Lima, Ohio. This was the second spring tournament for the Yellow Jackets.
Individually, junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Emily Scheetz (Canton/Perry) led the way for the Yellow Jackets with a score of 91. Following Emily Scheetz, was freshman and sister Molly Scheetz (Canton/Perry) who posted a 93. Sophomore All-OAC player Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./Our Lady of Providence), who led the Yellow Jackets last weekend at the Capital University Tournament, carded a 94. Junior All-OAC player Lauren Buckner (Westlake/Senior) carded a 101. Rounding out the Yellow Jacket lineup was first-year player Lauren Kushner (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) who had a 143 in her first collegiate tourney.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action when they play host the annual Ohio Cup Invitational Tournament (a Ryder Cup format) at the Pine Hills Golf Course in Hinckley, Ohio on Saturday, April 9. The first tee-off is at 11:00 a.m.
