The Baldwin-Wallace College Women's Golf Team Placed Second at the Mount
Union College Invitational
BEREA, OHIO - The Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team placed second of seven teams at the Mount Union College Invitational Tournament played at the Pleasant View Golf Club (Par-72; 6,290-yards) in Alliance, Ohio. This was the fourth tournament of the spring season for the Yellow Jackets.
Leading the way for the Yellow Jackets, was freshman Molly Scheetz (Massillon/ Perry) with a 36-hole total of 168 strokes (85+83) earning her third place individually in the tournament. Following Molly Scheetz and placing fifth individually, was sophomore Sara Hacker (New Albany, Indiana/ Our Lady of Providence) (87+85) and junior Emily Scheetz (Massillon/ Perry) (85+87) who both posted 172 strokes. Junior Lauren Buckner (Westlake/ Senior) carded 182 strokes (94+88) respectively.
The individual champion for the tournament was Colleen Groomes from Otterbein College with a 36-hole total of 162 strokes (79+83).
The Yellow Jackets will back in action when they play at the Otterbein Invitational on April 16 and 17 at the New Albany Links Golf Club in New Albany, Ohio.
