The Baldwin-Wallace Women's Golf Team Tied for Sixth at the Capital University Invitational

BEREA , OHIO - The Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team tied for sixth place at the Capital University Purple and White Invitational. The Yellow Jackets posted an 18-hole total of 394 strokes at the Fox Fire Country Club (Par 72; 6,192-yards) in Lockbourne, Ohio. The second day of the tournament was cancelled due to increment weather conditions.

Individually, sophomore Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./Our Lady of Providence) led the way for the Yellow Jackets by placing ninth with a score of 92. Following Hacker, was freshman Molly Scheetz (Canton/Perry) who posted a 97. Junior Emily Scheetz (Canton/Perry) posted a 102. Senior Mary Farrell (Middleburg Heights (Holy Name) carded a 103 and rounding out the Yellow Jackets, was junior Lauren Buckner (Westlake/Senior) with a 107.

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action when they play at the Ohio Northern University Invitational on April 7, 2005.
