The B-W Women's Golf Team Placed Third at the Yellow Jacket Invitational

BEREA, OHIO - The Baldwin-Wallace College women's golf team finished in third place of eight teams at the Yellow Jacket Fall Invitational (September 26). They shot a total of 341 strokes for 18-holes at the Big Met Golf Course (Par 73; 5,821-yards) in Fairview Park, Ohio.Click here for complete results.

Leading the way for the Yellow Jackets was freshman Molly Scheetz (Canton/ Jackson) who shot an 82 and tied for sixth overall. Sophomores Sarah Hacker (New Albany, Ind./Our Lady of Providence) and Kelly Gallaway(Ashland/Senior) posted scores of 85 and tied for 14th. Junior Lauren Buckner (Westlake) shot an 89 and tied for 22nd and senior Mary Farrell (Middleburg Heights/Parma Holyname) shot a 90 and tied for 24th.

The individual medalist for the tournament was Kristy Latimer from Olivet College with 78 strokes.

The Yellow Jackets will play again at the Mount Union College Invitational on October 2nd.
