WBCA Division III Coaches National Poll
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's basketball team, 4-1 overall, is ranked 21st in the first weekly WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) Division III national poll that was released on Tuesday, December 7. The poll will be released every Tuesday and is conducted by four coaches plus a chair in each of the eight regions of Division III. To view the entire WBCA national poll, please click here.
The Yellow Jackets won a pair of games last week as they defeated nonleague foe Grove City (Pa.) College, 84-60, on Wednesday and then opened 2004-2005 Ohio Athletic Conference action by beating Otterbein College, 72-70, on a last second shot in Westerville last Saturday. B-W began the year ranked 18th in the WBCA preseason poll.
The B-W women next play on Saturday when they host OAC-rival Muskingum College at 3:00 p.m in the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium in Berea. Yellow Jacket women's basketball fans can catch updates of Saturday's game versus Muskingum both on campus radio station, WBWC, 88.3 FM, and via the College internet Web site at www.bw.edu/athletics. Reports from the women's game will be broadcast during the LIVE broadcast of the men's game from Muskingum.
