Then a steal by Brough and layup by senior guard Selena Eskinazi-Budge (Beachwood) extended the lead to 37-34 with 2:32 left.

Following an Anderson free throw by junior forward Melenda Hawthorne that made the score 37-35 with 2:15 left, junior point guard Rachael Quiring (Brunswick/ Parma Heights Holy Name) gave B-W a four-point lead at 39-35 with a pair of foul shots with 2:04 left.

Anderson then closed to within 39-37 with 51 seconds to go when Hawthorne made her final basket of the game.
