B-W Women Move Up in Both National Polls, Play Heidelberg Tonight

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's basketball team moved up in both weekly Division III national ranking polls. Tonight, the Yellow Jacket women, 14-1 overall and tied for first in the Ohio Athletic Conference at 7-1, travel to Tiffin, Ohio to play Heidelberg College at 7:30 p.m. in Seiberling Gymnasium. Fans can listen to that game locally on campus radio station, WBWC, 88.3 FM, and via the College Internet Web site at www.bw.edu/athletics.

This week, the B-W women are ranked ninth in the www.d3hoops.com Web site poll and in a tie for 12th in the USA Today/ WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) poll. Last week, B-W was anked 10th by d3hoop.com poll and 14th in the USA Today/ WBCA poll.

Following its game at Heidelberg tonight, B-W returns to Berea to begin preparations for facing OAC rival Wilmington College on Saturday in the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium at 3:00 p.m. Wilmington and Capital Universty are both tied with B-W for frst place in the OAC. Wilmington and Capital meet tomorrow night in Wilmington.
