NCAA Division III Coaching Records (Updated prior to 2008-2009)
In both 2000-2001 and 2004-2005, Coach Brault was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. In 17 years overall, Coach Brault has compiled an impressive career mark of 341-211 and was ranked 37th on the all-time winning percentage list among Division III coaches prior to the 2007 season. Her career mark includes an outstanding 272-161 mark at B-W in 13 seasons. B-W finished 18-14 in 2007 while again playing one of the strongest schedules in the country.
In 2006, Coach Brault's squad compiled an impressive 26-7 record and won an OAC regular season co-title. In addition, B-W was nationally ranked for the ninth time since she came to Berea. During her 13 seasons on the B-W sideline, Coach Brault has led three teams to OAC regular season crowns (2001-2002, 2003-2004 and 2006-2007) and one team to the OAC Tournament title (2000-2001) and a pair of her teams have advanced to NCAA Division III National Tournament.
"Our program continues to have goals of winning an OAC title and participating in the NCAA Division III National Tournament with the ultimate goal of being an NCAA Division III National Champion," said Brault. "To do this each year, we know we must play against top-fight competition and be prepared to play well each day.
"We are both proud of the tradition that Marcia French began at Baldwin-Wallace in the late 1960s, 70s and into the 1980s, and are equally proud of the success of our current teams," said Brault, who trails only French on the all-time Yellow Jacket career coaching list. "We know that we have a great challenge ahead of us each season in terms of playing both a competitive nonleague schedule and in some outstanding tournaments and then competing in the OAC -- one of the best NCAA Division III conferences in the nation."
Prior to arriving in Berea, Coach Brault was a successful head coach at the Division III level at Claremont (Calif.) McKenna-Mudd-Scripps College for four years. Brault guided her teams to a 70-50 record, two Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles and two appearances in the national tournament.
