Yellow Jackets Come Back to Defeat OAC Rival Otterbein College, 3-2, in Westerville

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College Volleyball team stayed unbeaten in Ohio Athletic Conference play as they rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat OAC rival Otterbein College 3-2.

With the win, the Yellow Jackets improve to 15-12 overall and a perfect 7-0 in the OAC.

For the match, senior three-time All-OAC and two-time All-Great Lakes middle hitter Cassie Palmer (Greenwich/ South Central) led the front row with 25 kills, seven blocks and 4 service aces.  Adding to the teams kills was senior Emily Bowen (Tiffin Columbian) with 16 and sophomore outside hitter Emily Albanese (Mentor) with 5. 

The offense was led by senior setter Angie Elser (Wooster / Northwestern). Elser had 46 set assists.

The back row was led by freshman libero Kim Stoll (Norwalk St. Paul). Stoll had a team-leading 30 digs.  In addition, Bowen had 19 and followed by junior Kari Kuhn (Amherst/ Marion Steele) with 11 digs.

The Yellow Jackets will next be in action on Tuesday, October 28th when they travel to Bexley, Ohio for a match with Capital University at 7:00 p.m.  The winner of this match could decide who wins the OAC regular season championship.
