BEREA, OHIO -- The 19th-ranked Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team defeated Ohio Athletic Conference rival Marietta College, 3-0 (30-21, 30-26, 30-23), this afternoon in Berea.
With the win, Baldwin-Wallace improves to 22-4 overall and 6-1 in the OAC, while Marietta falls to 18-4 overall and 2-3 in the OAC.
On offense, Baldwin-Wallace was led by junior All-OAC outside hitter Kelsey Hills (Toledo/ St. Ursula Academy) with 12 kills and sophomore middle hitter Maria DePeters (Buffalo, NY, Mt. St. Mary Academy) with nine. Sophomore All-OAC outside hitter Rachel Selgo (Grand Rapids, Mich./West Catholic) contributed four service aces. Senior All-American setter Angie Camp (Norwalk/St. Paul) accounted for 39 set assists.
Defensively, the Jackets were led by Hills with 23 digs and junior libero Meggie Marten (Bowling Green/Senior) with 17. DePeters tallied five blocks and Camp added three.
The Yellow Jackets will return to action when they travel to Westerville, Ohio to play OAC foe Otterbein College on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 7:00 p.m.
