BEREA, OH-- Baldwin-Wallace defeated Case Western Reserve University, 30-25, 30-10 and 30-16, at CWRU, Wednesday, September 17. The Yellow Jackets improved their record to 5-4.
Leading the way with 18 kills was senior three-time All-OAC and two-time All-Great Lakes Region middle hitter Cassie Palmer (Greenwich/ South Central) followed by junior Laura Leach (Norwalk/Senior) who recorded 11. Freshman Kim Stoll (Norwalk/St. Paul) led the defense with 20 digs, while freshman Kristen Habegger (Oregon) added 29 set assists in the effort. In addition, senior Kari Kuhn (Amherst/Steele) had four aces.
The Yellow Jackets will travel to Missouri this weekend, September 19 and 20, to compete in the Washington University Invitational. Friday's match begins at 5:00 p.m.
