B-W Volleyball Team Falls 3-1 at Home to Heidelberg
BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team lost to visiting Heidelberg College, 3-1, at the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium in the Lou Higgins Center in Berea today (October 14, 2008).
With its loss, the Yellow Jackets are now 9-16 overall and 0-5 in the OAC while Heidelberg improves to 22-4 overall and 6-1 in the OAC.

B-W was led offensively by senior middle hitter Maria DePeters (Buffalo, N.Y. / Mt. St. Mary Academy) and freshman Nicole Schoen (Bellevue) with 14 and 11 kills, respectively. Sophomore setter Casey Passen (Ashville / Teays Valley) led the Yellow Jackets with 28 assists.
On defense, sophomore defensive specialist Lissy Grame (Berea) led the team with 15 digs.
The Yellow Jackets next play on Saturday, October 18 when they travel to Marietta College to take on the Pioneers.
