2011-2012 Notes: Markema Winters played in one game in her first year of volleyball at Baldwin Wallace University. She tallied two kills and had one block.
OTHER BW NOTES AND INFORMATION: Markema is currently a freshman majoring in Physical Therapy.
HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: While attending Akron Firestone High School, Markema participated in volleyball for four years and earned three varsity letters. She also played basketball and lettered in her two years. She also competed in track for one year. In volleyball, Markema was named All-City Honorable Mention as a freshman, Scond Team her sophomore year, and first team her junior and senior seasons. She was also named Best Blocker all four years. In her junior and senior seasons she earned Best Hitter and Best Server her senior season.
