Baldwin-Wallace Volleyball Team Falls to Muskingum College, 3-0
NEW CONCORD, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team lost to host Muskingum College, 3-0, in New Concord, Ohio today (Oct. 22) and fell from first place in the Ohio Athletic Conference. B-W lost by scores of 30-20, 30-21 and 30-26.
With the loss the Yellow Jackets fell to 17-9 overall and 6-2 in the OAC. With its win, Muskingum improves to 13-10 overall and 4-3 in the OAC.

Leading the offense for the Yellow Jackets was sophomore All-OAC outside hitter Kelsey Hills (Toledo/ St. Ursula Academy) with 14 kills. Following Hills in kills was freshman outside hitter Rachel Selgo (Grand Rapids, Mich./ West Catholic) with 10. Junior setter Angie Camp (Norwalk/ St. Paul) recorded the most set assists with 40 and freshman middle hitter Maria DePeters (Buffalo, N.Y./ Mount St. Mary Academy) recorded the most service aces with two.
Defensively, sophomore libero Meggie Marten (Bowling Green/ Senior) led the team in digs with 29 and was followed by Selgo and Hills with each recording 20, and Camp with 19. Three players, DePeters, Hills, and freshman middle hitter Brooke Hinkle (Wellington) all recorded three total blocks.
The Yellow Jackets will travel to Heidelberg on Tuesday (Oct. 25) for their final regular season conference game, game starts at 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday (Oct. 28-29) B-W will compete in the Wittenberg Invitational before beginning their play in the OAC Championship Tournament beginnning on Tuesday, October 1.
