Yellow Jackets Stay Undefeated in Conference Play with a 3-0 Win Over Otterbein College

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team remained undefeated in Ohio Athletic Conference play with a straight set (30-23, 30-27, 30-26) win over Otterbein College at the Rike Center in Westerville.

The Yellow Jackets improve to 13-4 overall, 2-0 OAC while Otterbein falls to 6-13, 0-1 OAC.

Freshman Kelsey Hills (Toledo/ St. Ursula Academy) led B-W with 11 kills followed by senior Laura Leach (Norwalk/ Senior) and junior Emily Albanese (Mentor) each recording eight kills.  Freshman setter Nicole Igarashi (Eastlake/ North) had a team-high 30 set assists and sophomore Kim Stoll (Norwalk/ St.Paul) led four other players in double figures in digs with 24 followed by Albanese with 23.  Albanese also had three solo blocks in the win against Otterbein.

B-W will travel to Cincinnati for the two-day College of Mount St. Joseph Tournament beginning on Friday, Oct. 1 at 5:00 p.m.
