Baseball
Hitter: Muskingum senior 3B Scott Ringhiser (Orient/Grove City) batted .500 (20-of-40) in 11 games over spring break and three contests last week. Ringhiser recorded 25 RBI, 14 runs, five doubles, a triple and three home runs. He is currently third all-time in school history in career doubles (41) and is tied for second all-time in home runs (28) and RBI (131).
Pitcher: Baldwin-Wallace senior Aaron Krieger (Bellefontaine) tossed a five-hit shutout in a 4-0 win against Dominican (IL) on March 8. In nine innings of work, Krieger allowed seven hits, four runs, five walks and allowed no earned runs. He was 1-1 on the spring trip.
Softball
Hitter: Muskingum senior designated player Nicole Blubaugh (New Lexington) batted .474 in 13 games played the past two weeks. Blubaugh led the Muskies with 18 hits, 13 runs, 17 RBI, six doubles and two home runs.
Pitcher: Muskingum junior Erica Hoyt (Tipp City/Bethel) holds a 9-1 mark in 10 starts for the Muskies. Hoyt has a 0.67 ERA in 52.1 innings of work. She has allowed 26 hits, 10 runs (five earned) and has 45 strikeouts. She has also pitched four complete games.
Ohio Northern senior Erin Rupp (Tiffin/Columbian) is 4-2 in seven appearances and 42 innings of work. She has a 1.17 ERA with 40 strikeouts on the year. She has allowed 10 runs (seven earned), 33 hits and has given up just 10 walks on the year.
Men's Tennis
Baldwin-Wallace freshman #2 singles player James Daly (Akron/Firestone) went a perfect 6-0 in both singles and doubles play over spring break. On the year, Daly is 16-2 in singles play and 13-1 at #2 doubles.
Women's Tennis
Baldwin-Wallace sophomore Andrea Isaac (New Philadelphia) had a perfect 12-0 mark between #1 singles (5-0) and #1 doubles (7-0) over spring break. Isaac was the 2004 OAC Player-of-the-Year.
Ohio Northern freshman Courtney Andreson (Amherst/Steele) is a perfect 12-0 during the spring season. She is 5-0 at #5 singles, 2-0 at #4 singles and 1-0 at #2 and #1 singles. In doubles play, Anderson is 3-0.
