Division III National Swim Meet
BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College freshman diver Julie Stancliff (Erie, Pennsylvania/ McDowell High School) will travel to Principia (Ill.) College to participate in the 2004 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championship Meet from Thursday, March 11 through Saturday, March 13.
Stancliff emerged as the OAC's most dominant female diver this winter. She won the OAC title in the one-meter event with 377.30 points which qualified her for the NCAA Championship Meet. Stancliff also won the 3-meter dive with 397.50 points. For her efforts, she was tabbed as the OAC Female Diver of the Year and as a first-team All-OAC honoree in each event.
"Julie had an outstanding year and we are both looking forward to the challenge at the national meet," said fifth-year Head Coach Mike Gallagher. "Julie works extremely hard and is a perfectionist. We are very proud of all that she has accomplished this year and look forward to competing at Principia"

The 2003-2004 Yellow Jacket women's swimming and diving team had a 8-6 overall record and compiled a perect 4-0 OAC dual meet mark. The B-W women were second at the 2004 OAC Championship Meet.
