Conference Men's Swimmer-of-the-Week
BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College junior swimming student-athlete D.J. Mosiniak (Toledo/ St. Francis DeSales High School) is this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week. It is the second time this season that he has been honored by the OAC.
Mosiniak earned this week's honor for leading the Yellow Jackets to a dual meet victory against Morningside (Iowa) College, 121-72, on Jan. 3 on B-W's annual Winter Break trip to Rivera Beach, Florida. In that meet, Mosiniak won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.42 seconds and the 100-yard free in 53.46 seconds and swam the second leg of the winning 200-yard free relay team.
Mosiniak and the Yellow Jackets return to action on Friday, Jan. 13 when they travel to Ashland, Ohio to swim against NCAA Division II Ashland University at 6:00 p.m. and then host nonleague foe Westminster (Pa.) College on Saturday, Jan. 14 in the B-W Natatorium at 1:00 p.m.
