The Swimming & Diving Facilities: The Recreation Center and Natatorium
The Baldwin-Wallace College men's swimming and diving team trains and competes in the B-W Recreation Center. Located in the Recreation Center is the B-W natatorium with a six-lane, 25-yard pool for swimming, a one-meter diving board and a six lane Daktronicsd LED scoreboard. With its moveable bottom in the shallow end to accommodate adaptive programs, the B-W natatorium is an excellent aquatic facility that seats 300 fans.
The Recreation Center also gives the B-W swimmers and divers a chance to enhance their performance through the use of the latest free weight and Nautilus equipment as well as rehabilitating injuries in one of the finest training facilities for Division III athletes. The Yellow Jacket swimmers and divers also have access to the 200-meter indoor track, Ursprung Gymnasium and five racquetball courts in the Recreation Center.
Overall, the B-W Recreation Center, when combined with The George Finnie Stadium and other existing facilities, gives B-W swimmers and divers one of the finest facilities of any small college in the nation.
