Notes: Lauren Feciuch completed her sophomore season of softball at Baldwin-Wallace College in 2011-2012 and earned her second varsity letter. She was named as a second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference player. She moved from shortstop to third base. She led the team in batting with a career-high average of .387 and had team-highs in slugging (.613) and on-base (.408) averages. Lauren also had career-highs in base hits (48), RBI (26), homeruns (five), stolen bases (eight-for-eight) and was second in doubles (13). The Yellow Jackets finished 18-20 overall. As a freshman in 2010-2011, Lauren played her first season of softball and earned her first varsity letter. She was tabbed as an honorable mention All-OAC student-athlete. Lauren hit the game-winning homerun in the 2-1, nine-inning OAC Championship Game victory at Ohio Northern University. That win vaulted B-W into the 2012 NCAA Division III National Tournament. She was the starting shortstop, played in all 39 games, batted .282 (29-0f-103) with 16 runs scored, eight doubles, a team-leading three triples, two homeruns, 19 runs batted-inand three stolen bases in three attempts. Lauren also led the team with 108 fielding assists. The Yellow Jackets tied the school-record with 28 victories and had a 28-11 overall record. |
