Baldwin Wallace Women Place Third and Men Fourth at the Ohio Wesleyan Marv Frye Invitational

BEREA, OHIO — The Baldwin Wallace University women’s track and field team finished third and the men placed fourth at the annual Marv Frye Invitational Meet at Ohio Wesleyan University. It marked the first time this season that the BW women did not win an invitational title.
 
For the women, senior Kristen Paulsen (Oberlin/ Firelands) won the javelin throw with a toss of 113-feet and two inches and the 100-meter hurdles in 15.21 seconds, freshman Kim Chinn (Zanesville/ West Muskingum) won the 1500-meter run in 4:48.04.  For the men, sophomore Greg Patrick (Collins/ Western Reserve) won the shot put with a throw of 47’7.25”.
 
The Yellow Jacket men and women will next compete on Saturday, April 12 when they travel to Delaware, Ohio to compete at the annual All-Ohio Division III Championship Meet at Ohio Wesleyan University at 11:00 p.m.
