The Yellow Jacket Women Finish Eighth and Men Fourth at the Annual All-Ohio

Division III Track Championships at OWU

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women finished eighth of 20 teams and the men fourth of 19 schools at the annual All-Ohio Intercollegiate Track & Field Championship Meet (April 16-17) at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware.

Highlighting the action for the men was senior Alex Johnson (Berea/ Olmsted Falls) who won both the shot put with a throw of 52-feet and 11 and three-quarters inches and the discus with a throw of 147' 4". In addition, senior Jon Shoffstall (Lakeview/ Indian Lake) was second in both the hammer with a throw of 163' 11" and the discus with a throw of 146' 4". The Yellow Jacket women did not have an individual winner.

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action next Saturday, April 24 when they travel to Wilmington, Ohio to compete at the Wilmington College Invitational Meet.
