Baldwin-Wallace Junior Kim Chinn Named OAC Track Athlete of the Week

Chinn bettered her qualifying time in
the 1,500m run on Friday.
BEREA, OHIO – Baldwin-Wallace College junior runner Kim Chinn (Zanesville/West Muskingum) has been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week for her performance this past weekend.
Chinn placed second overall of 73 competitors in the 1,500-meter run at the University of North Carolina Charlotte 49er Classic. She finished in 4:35.10 to improve her provisional qualifying mark for the NCAA Division III Championships that will be hosted by Baldwin-Wallace in late May.
Chinn and the rest of the Yellow Jackets are idle until the Ohio Athletic Conference Split Squad Meet on Saturday, April 3 at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio.
Alumni, media and fans also are reminded that B-W will host the 2010 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship Meet from May 27-29 at The George Finnie Stadium in Berea.
