BEREA, OHIO –  Junior Kim Chinn (Zanesville/ West Muskingum) won two events and hit NCAA provisional qualifying standards in each and senior Erin Norton (Lakewood/ Senior) reset her own school record in the hammer throw as the Baldwin-Wallace College men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams ended its week of spring break by competing yesterday and today (Friday and Saturday, March 12-13, 2010) at the unscored Coastal Carolina University Invitational Meet in Conway, South Carolina. Baldwin-Wallace to Host 2010 NCAA Division III Championships

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College will serve as the host institution for the 2010 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships on Thursday-Saturday, May 27-29 in Berea, Ohio.


Baldwin-Wallace’s D’Arcy Hlavin Named ESPN THE MAGAZINE Academic All-District IV

BEREA, OHIO – Baldwin-Wallace College junior runner D’Arcy Hlavin (Berea) has been selected to the 2009 ESPN THE MAGAZINE Academic All-District IV Women’s Track/Cross Country team. Hlavin, who was tabbed as a second-team selection, also was named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team in mid-May. (Complete Release)

 

Greg Patrick Becomes B-W's Second All-American Thrower in as Many Days

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College junior thrower Greg Patrick (Collins/ Western Reserve) capped off the outdoor track & field season with an All-American performance in the shot put at the 2009 NCAA Championships in Marietta, Ohio on Saturday, May 23. Patrick placed eighth to become B-W's first ever male outdoor All-American in the shot put and joins sophomore Kevin Phipps (Reynoldsburg/ Watkins Memorial) who earned All-America status in the discus throw yesterday. B-W's Kevin Phipps Places Seventh in Discus Throw for First Career All-American Finish

BEREA, OHIO – Baldwin-Wallace College sophomore thrower Kevin Phipps (Reynoldsburg/ Watkins Memorial) placed seventh in the discus throw to earn All-American honors at the 2009 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Marietta, Ohio. Phipps picks up his first piece of All-American hardware and becomes only the second male in school history to achieve All-America status in the discus throw. (Complete Release)
