BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College men's and womens' outdoor track and field teams competed the 24th annual and unscored Toledo Invitational hosted by the University of Toledo on Friday, May 1, 2008 in Toledo, Ohio.
Placing first for the men was sophomore Steven Price (North Olmsted) in the javelin with a throw of 161-feet and seven inches. Also placing for the men was sophomore Greg Patrick (Collins/Western Reserve) who was second in the shot put with a toss of 48'11" and fourth in the discus with a throw of 149'7".
Junior Rebekah Paul (Gibsonburg) had the highest finish on the women's side as she finished fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.49 seconds.
The B-W men's and women's track and field teams will be back in action next Friday (May 9, 2008) when they travel to Meadville, Pennsylvania to participate in the Allegheny (Pa.) College Gator Invitational.
