OAC Players-of-the-Week: 10/31-11/7

Football

Offensive --Otterbein junior wide receiver Ricardo Lenhart (Sidney) pulled in 14 receptions for 240 yards and two touchdowns in the Cardinals 31-14 win against Heidelberg last weekend. Lenhart missed tying the school record for receiving yards in a game by four yards, set by Ben Streby in 1999.

Defense -- Marietta sophomore defensive back Anthony Banks (Colonial Hts, VA) tallied seven tackles and had two interceptions in the Pioneers 26-0 win against Baldwin-Wallace on Saturday. Banks returned one pick 57 yards for a score and sealed the game with his second interception, which he returned 39 yards to the B-W 21 late in the fourth quarter.

Special Teams -- John Carroll senior placekicker Dino Zuzic (Euclid) connected on four field goal attempts and a PAT, accounting for 13 of John Carroll's 19 points in a 19-6 win against Capital. He tied the school record, held by three others, with his four field goals made. He connected on field goals of 25, 42, 25 and 37 yards.

Men's Swimming & Diving

Baldwin-Wallace sophomore Luke Grilli (Londonderry, NH) picked up five individual wins in two B-W victories last week. Against Oberlin, Grilli won the 200 free (1:50.55), the 100 back (57.14) and was on the winning 200 free relay (1:31.93). Against Wilmington, Grilli won the 200-meter free (2:07.94) and was on the winning 200-meter free team (1:43.74).

Women's Swimming & Diving

Baldwin-Wallace sophomore Sara Gombash (Perrysburg/Toledo Notre Dame Academy) took home six first place finishes against Oberlin and Wilmington last week. Against Oberlin, Gombash won the 200 IM (2:19.71), the 100 fly (1:01.85) and was on the winning 200 medley relay (1:57.16). At Wilmington, Gombash won the 200-meter IM (2:42.38), the 100-meter fly (1:11.89) and was on the winning 200-meter medley relay (2:13.02).
