Men's Tennis

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team continued its winning ways this winter as the Yellow Jackets defeated Ohio Dominican University, 6-3, today (Saturday, February 17, 2007) at the North Ridge Racket Club in North Ridgeville to improve to 4-0 this season. Earlier today, BW beat Hiram College, 9-0, at the Paramount Tennis Club in Medina.

In its win versus ODU, junior number one singles player James Daly (Akron/ Firestone), , freshman No. 3 player Andy Redd (Archbold), sophomore No. 5 player sophomore Jim Kucera (Mentor) and sophomore No. 6 player Zach Long (Ashland/ Senior) all won in singles play.

In doubles, the No. 1 tandem of Daly and sophomore Jim Kucera (Mentor) and the No.3 duo of Redd and Apperson both won.

The Yellow Jacket men end winter play next Saturday, Feb. 24 when they play Defiance College at 6:30 p.m. at the North Ridge Racket Club in North Ridgeville.
