Yellow Jacket Seniors Andrews, Christian, Dundr and Igneczi to be Recognized Tomorrow Night

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University and the Yellow Jacket men's soccer team will recognize senior men's soccer players Geoff Andrews, Nate Christian, Josh Dundr and James Igneczi as well as senior soccer manager Karina Krajec prior to tomorrow night's (Oct. 26) game against Ohio Northern University at The George Finnie Stadium.

During the past four years, the five seniors who we will recognize tonight have made a dramatic impact on this program, including helping BW to a 40-16-2 record the pas three seasons.

Geoff Andrews is a two-time letterman who returned to the field this year to make a significant impact in the Yellow Jacket offense and as a team leader. The business administration major also is a Dean's List student.

On the field this season, Geoff has appeared in 18 games and started nine. He is second on the team in scoring with five goals and four assists for 14 points. For his career, Geoff has appeared in 5 6 games, scored 15 goals and had 10 assists for 40 points.

Geoff is the son of Chuck and Kim Andrews of North Ridgeville.

Nate Christian is one of the best goalies in Division III and is having his best season as a collegian in 2005.

Nate is a criminal justice and psychology major who excels both as a student and on the soccer field. He is a member of the Pi Lamda Phi Honor Club, the BW Law Club and is a Dean's List student. Nate also was named CoSIDA Academic All-District IV.

This season, Nate is allowing an OAC-low 0.50 goals per game and has played in a school-record 11 shutouts and has made 50 saves. He earned OAC Player of the Week honors earlier this season and for the third time in his career when BW won the OAC-MIAA Shootout Tournament. During his career, Nate has recorded 221 saves and allowed 59 goals in 58 games played and has held opponents to 1.01 goals per game. As a sophomore, he tied the single-season record for shutouts played with eight and tied it agan last season. Nate broke the mark earlier this season.

During his career at BW Nate has won multiple honors. In 2003-2004 Nate was voted by his teammates as the team MVP. As a junior, he won the honor of MVP at the Virginia Wesleyan Tournament and was a third-team All-Great Lakes Region pick by the National Soccer Coaches Athletic Association (NSCAA).

Nate is the son of Darrell and Vicki Christian of North Ridgeville.

Josh Dundr is playing his fourth season season as a key on BW's offensive attack. This season, Josh has three goals and one assist for seven points. During his career, Josh has appeared in 66 games, has scored eight goals and assisted on six others for 22 career points.

In the classroom, Josh is an education major who hopes to teach and coach following graduation.

Josh is the son of Thomas and Karen Dundr of Medina.

James Igneczi is playing his third season of soccer at BW after transferring from ONU as a freshman. The history major who also would like to teach and coach has appeared in eight games this season and has been credited with one assist. During his career, James has appeared in 22 games and has two assists and two points.

James is the son of Dave and Terri Igneczi of Grafton.

Karina Krajec is in her third season as a manager with the Yellow Jacket soccer program. A former women's soccer player at BW, Karina is a business administration major and an outstanding student. She is a Dean's List student who also is a member of the Alpha Lambda and Omicron Delta Kappa honoraries.

Karina is the daughter of Richard and Nancy Krajec of Geneva.
