The Yellow Jacket Men's Golf Team Finishes Eighth of 13 Teams at the Annual

Muskingum College Tournament

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished eighth of 13 teams at the two-day, 36-hole Muskingum College Invitational Tournament played at the par-72, 6,504-yard Eaglesticks Golf Course in Cambridge, Ohio. This was the first spring tournament for the Yellow Jacket men.

The Yellow Jackets carded a first day team total of 305 and followed that with a 310 on the second day to finish at 615 total strokes and in eighth place. Otterbein College was the team champion with 576 strokes.

Individually for the Yellow Jackets, freshman Aaron Cuddy (Ashtabula/ St. John & Paul) carded rounds of 73 and 82 for a two-day total of 155 strokes. His 73 on the first day was a collegiate low and was the team low-round of the tourney. Cuddy was tied for low team honors by the trio of sophomore Gary Petit (Marietta), freshman Ryan Petretti (Strongsville/ Cleveland St. Ignatius) and senior Luke Sondej (Columbus/ Upper Arlington) as all three had 155 totals. Sondej had the low score of the second day for the Yellow Jackets with a 74. In addition, sophomore Bobby Santerre (Cincinnati/ LaSalle) had a 157-stroke two-day total to round out the squad.

The Yellow Jackets are idle next weekend, April 2-3 and return to action on Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10 when they participate in the annual Denison University Invitational Tournament at the Granville Country Club in Granville, Ohio.
