B-W Dominates Dickinson College (Pa.), 65-31

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College men's basketball team defeated Dickinson College, 65-31 in the consolation game of the Dickinson Tournament in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. With the win, B-W improves to 1-1 overall.

The Yellow Jackets were led by junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference forward Thad Davis (Elyria/ Open Door) and his younger brother, freshman forward Tori Davis (Elyria/ Open Door) with 19 and 14 points, respectively. Thad Davis also led B-W in rebounding with 11 and Tori grabbed seven of his own. Junior point-guard Tom Harrington (North Royalton/ Holy Name) chipped in with nine points to go along with a team-high seven assists for B-W. Brad Litchfield led Dickinson with 13 points.

Baldwin-Wallace took a commanding 39-14 lead into the half and shot 50 percent (16 of 32) from the floor. The Yellow Jackets then coasted to the victory.

For the tournament, Thad Davis was named to the all-tournament team and scored 35 points and grabbed 24 rebounds, passed for three assists, made three steals and blocked two shots.

The Yellow Jackets lost the opener in this tournament to 10th-ranked Randolph-Macon (Va.) College, 59-50.

Baldwin-Wallace will return to action on Wednesday, November 26 when they travel to University Circle to play Cleveland cross-town rival Case Western Reserve University at 7:30. The Jackets will have their first home game next Saturday (Nov. 29) when they host Thiel College of Pennsylvania at the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium also at 7:30.
