B-W Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Teams Compete at Mid-February Meet

BEREA, OHIO –
The Baldwin-Wallace College men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams competed in the unscored Mid-February Meet (Friday, February 10, 2012) on the Harrison Dillard Track in the Lou Higgins Center. The meet consisted of seven NCAA Division II schools, six NCAA Division III schools and one junior college school. (Complete Release)
 
 

B-W Heptathlete Brandon Eddy Named OAC Field Event Athlete of the Week

BEREA, OHIO --  Baldwin Wallace College sophomore track standout Brandon Eddy (Cuyahoga Heights) was named today (Monday, February 6, 2012) as Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Track Field Event Athlete of the Week. This is the second time in three weeks that he has earned that honor. (Complete Release)

 B-W Men Finish First and Women Second at Wooster Invitational Track Meet

WOOSTER, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College men’s indoor track and field team placed first and the women finished second today (Saturday, Februart 4, 2012) at The College of Wooster Fighting Scot Invitational Meet in the new Scot Center. B-W Sophomore Brandon Eddy Places Fifth At Akron Combined Events

AKRON, OHIO -- Sophomore Brandon Eddy (Cuyahoga Heights) finished fifth overall in the heptathlon at the University of Akron Combined Events Meet, today (February 6, 2012). He was first of three Division III and Ohio Athletic Conference athletes competing in the event. (Complete Release)

 

 

Baldwin-Wallace Multi-Event Athletes Compete on Day One of the University of Akron Invitational

AKRON, OHIO  –  Sophomore Brandon Eddy (Cuyahoga Heights) and freshman Nicole Christerner competed competed in day one of the University of Akron Combined Events Meet. Eddy will end action in the seven-event heptathlon at Akron on Saturday and the remainder of the teams are in action at The College of Wooster Invitational at 12:00 noon in the brand new Scot Center. The Baldwin-Wallace College men’s and women’s indoor track throwers competed last night (Friday, February 3, 2012) at the University of Findlay Open Meet. The remainder of the teams are in action at The College of Wooster Invitational at 12:00 noon in the brand new Scot Center.

Four Baldwin-Wallace Winter Student-Athletes Earn OAC Athlete of the Week Honors

BEREA, OHIO --  Four Baldwin-Wallace College winter sport student-athletes, junior Division III All-American thrower Mitch Supan (Medina/Walsh Jesuit), junior thrower Cristina Perrine (Middleburg Heights/Midpark), sophomore men’s basketball player Kevin Krakowiak (Valley City/Holy Name) and junior 4-time All-American diver Julie Pinter (Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Hts.), have been named as Ohio Athletic Cnference players-of-the-week (Monday, January 30, 2012).

B-W Women Finish First and Men Place Third at OAC North Split Meet

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed in the Ohio Athletic Conference North Split Meet tonight (Friday, January 27, 2012) on the Harrison Dillard Track in the Lou Higgins Center. The OAC North Split meet consisted of B-W, Heidelberg University, John Carroll University, the University of Mount Union and Ohio Northern University. (Complete Release)

Three B-W Winter Student-Athletes Named OAC Athletes of the Week

BEREA, OHIO --  Three Baldwin Wallace College winter student-athletes, men’s sophomore track standout Brandon Eddy (Cuyahoga Heights), junior diver Julie Pinter (Broadview Heights/ Brecksville-Broadview Heights) and junior swimmer Chris Tuttle (North Royalton), have been named today (Monday, January 23, 2012) as Ohio Athletic Conference players-of-the-week.  This is the third time that Pinter has earned the award during her distinguished career. BEREA, OHIO – The Baldwin-Wallace College men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams opened its 2012 season tonight (Friday, January 20, 2012) at the B-W Mid-January Meet on the Harrison Dillard Track in the Lou Higgins Center. Both teams placed first with men scoring 212.5 points and the women scoring 176 total points. (Complete Release)
