B-W: Women's Basketball Team is Ranked 10th in Division III National Poll

BEREA, OH -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's basketball team is ranked 10th in the fourth weekly Division III national poll by the d3hoops.com Internet website. To view the entire poll, please click here.

The Yellow Jackets, 10-1 overall, were ranked sixth in the third weekly poll by the d3hoops.com website on Dec. 16. At the time B-W was unbeaten at 6-0. Since that time, B-W has compiled a 4-1 record, including four straight wins. Last weekend, B-W traveled to San Diego, California and had a 3-0 record and won the Surf & Slam Tournament.

In San Diego, B-W beat Coe (Iowa), 77-45, the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater, 72-48, and host Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) in the championship game, 55-47. Senior two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference forward Holly Koepp (Lorain Catholic) was named as the tournament Most Valuable Player and senior guard Natalie Winkelfoos (Bucyrus) joined her on the all-tournament team.
