The 2002 Alumni Athletic Association Hall Of Fame Class Has Been Selected
BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College will induct 10 former outstanding students and athletes into its Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame during its 2002 Homecoming Weekend on October 11-12.
Headlining the list of inductees are Bob Packard ‘65, Richard "Dick" Lowry ’57 and Jennifer "Jenny" Fish-Baker ‘71. Other inductees include Brian Moore ‘85, Roger Andrachik ‘78, Paul Ernst ‘80, Annette "Annie" Heidersbach ‘87, Kim Smith-Gallagher ‘92, Stephanie Fleming-Dolejs ‘90 and Dr. Carol Thompson.
Packard, who retired in February after 21 years as the Head Coach of the Yellow Jacket football team, is the winningest football coach in B-W history and was among the winningest NCAA Division III coaches ever. Lowry retired in 1996 as the winningest football coach in the history of Hillsdale (Mich.) College and was one of the winningest coaches in the history of the NAIA. Fish-Baker did not participate in athletics while as a student but earned acclaim as a Olympic gold medalist in speed skating.
