General Ryan O'Rourke Notes: Ryan O'Rourke is an outstanding student-athlete and quarterback at Baldwin Wallace University. In addition to serving as a team quad captain in 2011-12, he maintains an outstanding 3.67 grade point average in the classroom.
2011-12 Notes: Ryan O'Rourke is the starting QB for the second straight year. He also is serving as a team quad captain. At times he splits time with fellow junior Andrew Dziak (Maple Heights/ Parma Padua Fransiscan). Ryan was tabbed as the Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on September 19 following his performance in a 35-20 win versus Heidelberg University on Sept. 17 in Berea. In that game, he completed 24-of-29 passes for a career-high 279 yards and three touchdowns.
2010-11 Notes: Ryan O'Rourke was the starting quarterback for the Yellow Jackets in 2009-10 and led BN-W to a 7-3 overall record. He completed 119-of-213 passes for 55.9 percent with 1,513 yards and 16 touchdowns with 13 interceptions. He was named as the OAC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in a 38-14 victory against The College of Wooster on September 2, 2010. He earned his first varsity letter. He had season passing bests of 20 completions against Marietta College, 259 passing yards versus Wilmington and three TD passes versus The College of Wooster (with a career-high 229.51 QB Efficency Rating). His best rushing effort was a career-high 111 yards in 10 attempts in a 35-20 win at Heidelberg University.
2009-10 Notes: Ryan O'Rouke transferred to BW in the Winter of 2010 from Slippery Rock (Pa.) State University. He played in five games, including two starts at Slippery Rock.
