Jimmy Basar at Baldwin-Wallace College: Jimmy Basar played four seasons of football at Baldwin-Wallace College and was a key member of the offensive line for the Yellow Jackets. As a senior in 2011, the three-year starter was a team captain who helped the Yellow Jackets compile an 8-2 record and a final No.24 ranking in the Division III polls (AFCA and d3football.com). Jimmy helped B-W to average 30.2 points and 371 yards of total offense per game. For his efforts, he was selected as a second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference.  In addition, JImmy also is a strong student who was tabbed as the school's National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete for 2011-12.  He plans to attend graduate school.

As a junior in 2010-11, Jimmy was honored with the Dr. Emory C. Unnewehr Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Physics.  He also was a member of the Rotaract Club.

While at Parma Senior High School:  Jimmy played four seasons of football and earned two varsity letters. He also participated in track and field for three seasons and earned one varsity letter. As a senior in 2007-2008 in football, Jimmy earned first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference, first-team All-Sun-Post and honorable mention All-District accolades. He also was a strong student and earned Northeast Ohio Conference student-athlete award honors and was a member of the National Honor Society.
