Career Stats

While at Baldwin-Wallace College: Rudy Ackerman ended a solid four-year football career as a member of the offensive line for the Yellow Jackets.

The 6'2" and 250-pound offensive guard saw action on the junior varsity squad as a freshman defensive tackle, split time between defense and offense as a sophomore and emerged as a key component and anchor on the offensive line a year ago. The three-year starter helped the Yellow Jackets to an 8-2 record and No. 24 ranking in Division III as a senior.  Rudy helped the B-W offense score 30.2 points per game and averaged 371.2 yards of total offense per game in 2011.

As a sophomore defensive tackle in 2009, Rudy had five total tackles, including a career-best four stops against Otterbein University (Oct. 10).

While at Brookside High School:   While at Brookside High School, Rudy played four seasons of football and earned two varsity letters. As a senior, he was an All-Lorain County selection and received the Frank Wojack Award. As a junior, Rudy received the "Coaches Award". In addition as a senior, he placed fifth in the state powerlifting championships.

In the classroom, Rudy was a member of the National Honor Society and High Honor Roll.

Family Affair: Rudy's younger brother, Luke, was a freshman wide receiver for the Yellow Jackets in 2011.
