BEREA, OHIO –  Baldwin-Wallace College junior football running back Tyler Lohr (Kent/ Roosevelt) and men’s soccer forward Kirk Graf (Ashland) have been named as Ohio Athletic Conference Players-of-the-Week.  It is the first time that each has been honored by the OAC.

Lohr earned his accolade for rushing for a game-high 123 yards and three touchdowns (2, 11 and 3 yards) in a 27-21 victory against Otterbein University last Saturday in Westerville. He also caught one pass for 10 yards. This season, Lohr tops the Yellow Jackets, 4-1 overall and 3-1 in the OAC, with 504 rushing yards in 104 carries with six TD. He also has four receptions for 30 yards.

This week,  the Yellow Jackets host OAC-rival Ohio Northern University in a key game on Homecoming in Berea at 2:00 p.m. B-W is currently listed among the “others receiving votes” in the d3football.com Division III national poll. That game will be televised by SportsTime Ohio at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16.

Graf earned his honor for scoring two goals and assisting on two others as the 10th-ranked (NSCAA national Division III poll) Yellow Jackets shut out Capital University, 3-0, last Monday (Oct. 3) and then beat Otterbein University, 2-1, on Saturday (Oct. 8) in Berea. Graf is third on the team in scoring with 19 points on seven goals and five assists.

Tomorrow night (Oct. 11), B-W, 12-1 overall, 3-0 in the OAC and riding a school-record 12-match winning streak play at OAC-rival Heidelberg University at 7:00 p.m.  Fans can both follow that match with LIVE Stats at http://www.heidelberg.edu/. IN addition, the Saturday, Oct. 22 men’s and women’s soccer doubleheader versus Wilmington College will be televised by SportsTime Ohio.
