Baldwin-Wallace College Senior Defensive Back Justin Andes Named as an

ESPN The Magazine (Selected by CoSIDA) Academic All-American

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College senior defensive back Justin Andes (Canal Fulton/ Canton Central Catholic High School) has been named as an ESPN THE MAGAZINE (Selected by CoSIDA) 2004 Academic All-American in the sport of football.

Andes, who carries a 3.73 grade point average in biology and pre-med, started in the Yellow Jacket secondary for the third straight year in 2004. The three-time Academic All-OAC player, including being a unanimous choice this year, and three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District IV choice was third on the team in tackles with 55, including 30 solo stops. He had one interception and nine pass breakups. He finished his career with 123 tackles and six interceptions. In addition, Andes was a second-team All-OAC selection this year.

Andes is the 31st Yellow Jacket football student-athlete to earn Academic All-America accolades from CoSIDA since the program began in 1972 and the 23rd since 1983.
