Academic Excellence: Zach is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Freshman Honor Society and is a Jacket Scholar. As a junior in 2010-11, he was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society. As a senior in 2011-12, Zach was honored at the 2011-12 Student-Athlete & Faculty Recognition Luncheon for having the Highest Grade Point Average on the men's cross country, track & field team (3.78).

2011
Earned his fourth varsity letter as a senior...Finished 77th with a time of (28:10.3) during the OAC Championship meet...Had one of his best times of (26:31.30) and finished 53rd during the Calvin College Invitational. 

2010
Earned All-Ohio honors for his 13th place finish at the All-Ohio Championship Meet at Cedarville on Oct. 1. Earned All-OAC honors with a seventh place finish at the OAC Championships finishing in 25:57

2009
Earned second varsity letter as a sophomore�placed 22nd (26:31.25) at the OAC Championship meet�finished 60th (27:18.39) overall and first for BW at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Meet...ran a season-best time of 26:43.3 at the Calvin (Mich.) College Knight Invite.

2008
Earned first varsity letter as a freshman�finished 56th at the OAC Championships...placed 133rd at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional...posted a season-best time of 27:20 at the Oberlin Inter-regional.
