The Baldwin Wallace University Men's Basketball and Wrestling Teams Are Ranked in Preseason Polls
BEREA, OHIO —
The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball and wrestling teams will enter the 2004-2005 season nationally-ranked.The Yellow Jacket men's basketball team, 18-8 overall a year ago, returns all five starters, their top nine players and had a soid recruiting class. The Yellow Jacket wrestling team, third at last year's Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, returns a solid corps of veterans, including three grapplers who advanced to the OAC Championship match in their respective weight class. The BW wrestling team opens its season on Saturday, November 13 when it travels cross-town to compete at the annual Case Western Reserve University Quad Meet at 12:00 noon.
The BW men's basketball team opens its season on Friday and Saturday, November 19-20 at the Gettysburg (Pa.) College Tournament when they play Mary Washington (Va.) College at 6:00 p.m. Mary Washington is listed in the "Others Receiving Votes" in the D3hoops.com poll.
