BEREA, OHIO -- Both the Baldwin-Wallace College women's and men's basketball teams are listed in this week's d3hoops.com Internet Web Site Division III national polls. The polls were released on Monday, February 9 and encompass games played through Saturday, February 8, 2004.
The Yellow Jacket women, 18-3 overall, 11-3 in the Ohio Athletic Conference are ranked 23rd in Division III and dropped one place in the rankings from last week despite beating Heidelberg (66-53) and Marietta (62-41). B-W is currently tied for second place in the OAC with Wilmington College and Otterbein College and one game back of first place Capital University.
This week, the Yellow Jackets travel to Ohio Northern University for a game on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the ONU Sports Center and then travel to Bexley on Saturday for a BIG game at Capital at 3:00 p.m. providing B-W beats ONU on Wednesday. With a win at ONU, Saturday's game would be for a first place tie with the Crusaders.

The Yellow Jacket men's basketball team, 16-5 overall, 11-3 in the OAC and tied with John Carroll University for first place in the OAC is listed "among the others receiving votes" and is in the poll for the first time this year. B-W has won seven straight games prior to hosting ONU and Capital this week.
