Dr. Robert "Bob" Fisher

Dr. Robert "Bob" Fisher '63 coached the Yellow Jackets for 42 seasons and 700 victories prior to retiring at the end of the 2010 season. Coach Fisher, who came to BW as a student in 1959, spent his entire career as a professor/teacher and coach at the College. In addition to being a professor in the HPE Division, Bob Fisher was a department chair, the advisor to BW's Chapter of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a member of the football coaching staff for more than 35 years, including serving as its Defensive Coordinator for 20 seasons.

Coach Fisher threw out the first pitch at Progressive Field on June 12, 2010 prior to the
Cleveland Indians versus Washington Nationals game.
