BEREA, OHIO -- Former standout baseball player and student-athlete Ken Davenport has joined the Baldwin-Wallace College baseball coaching staff. Davenport will coach the outfielders and freshman pitchers.
A 1996 graduate of the College, Davenport has been an assistant varsity baseball coach at Cleveland Heights High School the past four years while also teaching baseball skills at the annual Phil Bova School of Baseball which is held at B-W each summer
A native of Falconer, New York, Davenport was a four-year letterman for the Yellow Jackets who pitched in more than 30 games and played first base and served as a designated hitter. Davenport then went on to earn his Master's in Education degree fromt Kent State University and is currently a special education teacher at Strongville High School.
Davenport currently lives in Fairview Park with his wife, Felicia, and their two-year-old daughter, Marcella.
