Assistant Pitching Coach Zach McGrain

Zach McGrain completed his first season on the Baldwin Wallace University baseball coaching staff in 2010-11. He worked with Pitching Coach Bob Merritt and the Yellow Jacket pitching staff.

McGrain came to BW after graduating from Otterbein University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communications. McGrain was a four-year letterman on the mound for the Cardinals, where he compiled a 12-2 career record. He was an honorable mention All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection as a junior in 2009 and was a member of Otterbeinís 2007 OAC Tournament Championship team. McGrain had perfect 5-0 records as both a sophomore and junior.
 
A graduate of nearby Olmsted Falls High School, McGrain also previously served as head coach for the Olmsted Falls 14U travel baseball team.
 
He is currently pursuing a Masterís of Arts degree in Education at Baldwin Wallace, with a concentration on leadership in higher education and works as a graduate assistant in the BW Career Services Office.
