Julie A. Jones
B-W Class of 1992 | Induction Class of 2003
Julie Jones '92 was a member of the Baldwin-Wallace softball team for four years. She lettered in each of those years as the team’s catcher. She was named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in 1990, 1991 and 1992 and was a team captain in 1991 and 1992. Additionally in 1992, she was named All-Great Lakes Region, All-OAC, Academic All-Region, and an honorable mention GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American.
She received her bachelor’s degree from B-W in communication in 1992 and remained active with softball following graduation. She served as director and clinician at various softball clinics including those held at B-W, Kent State University and The Ohio State University and as the Cleveland Indians Fastpitch Camp Director.
Julie earned a Master of Arts in Applied Communication Theory and Methodology from Cleveland State University and was the head coach of the Viking softball program for 10 years.
