Tom A. Goosby ’63 was a four-year letterman at both offensive guard and linebacker for the Baldwin Wallace University football program and was one of the most accomplished linemen in school history. He was an NAIA All-American at guard and was selected as the top lineman in the Ohio Conference as a senior. In 1962, Goosby was drafted by the Cleveland Browns and played in a reserve role during the 1963 season. The remainder of his professional career was cut short due to serious knee injuries but he did make stops with the NFL’s Washington Redskins and the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League.
