Ray J. Gedeon

Ray J. Gedeon ’35 was a four-sport standout in the early 1930s for Baldwin Wallace University. Gedeon earned a total of 12 varsity letters in football, basketball, wrestling and track & field. Ray was a fullback for the Yellow Jacket football team and is best known for his two-touchdown performance in a 14-7 BW victory versus Ohio Conference Champion Case Western Reserve in October of 1933. Gedeon also held the school pole vault record.
Ray retired from a career in the Santa Monica, California Police Department in 1970 and spent time as a professional wrestling referee.
